Making the decision to embark upon the adventure of selling your life’s work is, perhaps, one of the biggest decisions in a dental practice owner’s career. Initially, another broker approached me when I was not quite ready, and it was not a promising experience. Months later I decided now was the time. I then tried to sell the practice and real estate on my own through professional connections. Ultimately, the buyer for my practice was a prospective buyer I had initially been speaking with when selling the practice on my own. Robert was able to get that buyer to increase his previous offer by approximately 33% for the practice itself and full asking price for the real estate with much better transition terms relating to my departure from the practice.
